Amex Offers – July 2017

In a post titled “American Express Offers – A Great Way to Save” I wrote about the great savings opportunities that can be found if you are an American Express cardholder.

Here are a few recent additions to Amex Offers that could save you some cold, hard cash on your next purchases. Offers may be targeted, so check your account for availability.

Five Guys – Spend $20 or more and get $5 back

Get a one-time $5 statement credit by using your enrolled Amex card to make a single purchase of $20 or more in-restaurant at Five Guys or online at fiveguys.com by 9/4/2017.

Note: the fine print excludes the purchase of physical or e-gift cards online.

California Pizza Kitchen – Spend $40 or more and get $10 back

Use your enrolled Amex card to make a single purchase of $40 or more in-restaurant and receive a $10 statement credit.

There are a few exclusions for this Offer, such as airport locations and college/university locations, so be sure to read the fine print prior to using.

Boston Market – Spend $25 or more and get $5 back

This offer is valid in-restaurant only. Make a single purchase of $25 or more at a Boston Market restaurant and receive a $5 statement credit.

Petco – Spend $50 or more and get $15 back

Get a one-time $15 statement credit when you use your enrolled Amex card to spend a minimum of $50 in one or more transactions online at petco.com by 9/30/2017.

To be clear, this offer is for online purchases only, the fine print specifically states the Offer is not valid in-store. Which shouldn’t really be a problem considering Petco offers everyday free shipping on orders $49 or more (before taxes/shipping).

Marriott – Spend $150 or more and get $30 back

Get a one-time $30 statement credit by using your enrolled Amex card to spend $150+ on room rate and room charges when you pay for your stay with Marriott Hotels from 7/10/17 to 10/31/17.

Airbnb – Spend $150 or more and get $50 back

You’ll receive a one-time statement credit of $50 when you use your enrolled Amex card to make a single purchase of $150 or more on bookings online at airbnb.com from 6/15/2017 to 9/8/2017.

Must book directly with Airbnb online or via the mobile app. Excludes Airbnb Meetups and gift card purchases. Offer not valid for bookings made prior to the promotion start date or after the promotion end date.
