Amex Offers – October 2018

In a post titled “American Express Offers – A Great Way to Save” I wrote about the great savings opportunities that can be found if you are an American Express cardholder.

Here are a few recent additions to Amex Offers that could save you some cold, hard cash on your upcoming travel and general purchases.  Offers may be targeted, so check your account for availability.

And always be sure to read the fine print of the individual Offers to make sure you’re not missing some important requirements.

MGM Resorts– Spend $250 or more and get $50 back

Aaptiv – Spend $14 or more and get $6 back (up to 2 times)

Spend $14 or more online at aaptiv.com using your enrolled Amex card to pay and receive a $6 statement credit. This $6 statement credit can be used two times before December 21, 2018.

Aaptiv is an audio-based fitness instruction program that provides access to thousands of workouts created and guided by world-class certified trainers.

A monthly subscription to Aaptiv is priced at $14.99, so just over the trigger amount for this Amex Offer, making the monthly charge $8.99.

If you sign up for Aaptiv soon, you can take advantage of the 30-day free trial offer, followed by two months of $8.99 charges as a result of the $6 Amex Offer statement credit.

An Aaptiv subscription automatically renews, however, you can cancel it 48 hours prior to your next renewal date to avoid further charges.

I’m not sure if Aaptiv is worth it, but for someone who wants to give an app based fitness program a try, why not save a little money in the process.

 

Finally, new clothes might be in the offing should Aaptiv do its job.

UNTUCKit – Spend $100 or more and get $20 back

Use your enrolled American Express card to spend $100 or more in one or more transactions in-store at UNTUCKit, or online at untuckit.com and recieve a one-time $20 statement credit.

I’ve been intrigued by UNTUCKit for a while now, but have yet to give it a try.  I’m tired of shirts that are too long when worn untucked while fitting just right in the shoulders and chest.  UNTUCKit is supposed to be a cure for that ill-fitting issue.

If you’ve tried UNTUCKit and liked the product, or are like me and are searching for a well-fitted, untucked shirt all the way around, this Amex Offer might be the chance to save a bit on the purchase.
