Amex Offers – May 2019
In a post titled “American Express Offers – A Great Way to Save” I wrote about the great savings opportunities that can be found just by holding an American Express credit card.
Here are a few recent additions to Amex Offers that could save you some cold, hard cash on your upcoming purchases. Offers may be targeted, so check your account for availability.
And always be sure to read the fine print of the individual Offers to make sure you’re not missing some important requirements.
Amex Offers Tip – If your Available Amex Offers are at 100, add some Offers to your card, even if you won’t be using them, additional Offers should then populate in your Available list. It seems 100 Offers is a max that can be shown, opening spots will allow you access to more Offers that may be of interest.
Get 15% back on select streaming services, up to $10
This Amex Offer is great for cord-cutters or those who have added select streaming services to their entertainment options.
Get 15% back as a statement credit when you use your enrolled American Express card to purchase streaming service(s) directly from select merchants.
Qualifying charges must post to your account by 9/30/2019, and there’s a limit of $10 total in statement credits.
This Offer is good on the following merchants/channels (must be purchased directly via the merchant/channel’s U.S. website): DirecTV Now, Pandora, I Heart Radio, Stitcher, Audible, Sling TV, ESPN+, MLB.TV, NHL.TV, NBA League Pass, CBS All Access, Fubo TV, HBO Now and Showtime.
To be clear, if you purchased your subscription through a third party device/digital platform, cable/wireless/internet provider, or car manufacturer, you may get billed by the party you signed up with, and not directly by the merchant. Which means the Offer WILL NOT BE TRIGGERED.
1-800-PetMeds– Spend $100 or more and get $15 back
Use your enrolled American Express card to spend $100 or more in one or more transactions at 1800PetMeds.com and get a one-time $15 statement credit.
1-800-PetMeds offers a wide variety of pet products ranging from prescription pet medications for which your vet must submit a prescription to non-prescription medications to pet supplies and even pet food. Which means if you own a pet, you should be able to easily take advantage of this money-saving Amex Offer.

The Offer expires 6/26/2019, so take this opportunity to stock up and save on items for your furry friend.
Allivet – Spend $40+ and get 2,000 Membership Rewards Points
Get 2,000 additional Membership Rewards points one-time when you use your enrolled American Express card to spend $40 or more on eligible transactions online at allivet.com. If you’re using a non-Membership Rewards earning Amex card, you may have this Offer with a specific dollar amount statement credit ($20?).
I’m not familiar with Allivet, but it appears similar to 1800PetMeds.com. You can purchase prescription and non-prescription pet medications as well as some food and treats.
Give them a look and see what you think. For certain products, the savings (or MR points earning) might be worth giving Allivet a try.
Park ‘n Fly – Spend $75 or more and get $15 back
Spend $75 or more online at pnf.com/amex using your enrolled Amex card to pay and get a one-time $15 statement credit.
This is a great way to save on your parking costs during the summer travel season. Or any time you may be heading out.
Just remember you must purchase at pnf.com/amex or via the merchant mobile app to get the Offer.

Fontainebleau Miami Beach – Spend $250 or more and get $50 back
Use your enrolled American Express card to spend a minimum of $250 on room rate and charges at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel from 4/28/19 – 8/31/19 and get a one-time $50 statement credit.
This Offer can save a bit if the Fontainebleau hotel is on your travel list.

Adobe.com – Spend $10 or more and get $10 back (up to 3x)
Get a $10 statement credit by using your enrolled Amex card to spend at least $10 in one or more transactions online at adobe.com/go/amex.
Adobe offers monthly subscription services for many of its products – Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Audition and more – ranging from $9.99 to $20.99 per month.
Since this Offer expires 5/31/19, you can get one month of Adobe service for a greatly reduced price. Great way to try a product to see if it works for you.
Sherwin-Williams – Spend $100 or more and get $25 back
Spend $100 or more in a single purchase in-store at Sherwin-Williams and get a one-time $25 statement credit.
With the warmer weather comes home projects – deck staining, room or whole house painting, etc. – use this Offer to save $25 on your Sherwin-Williams purchase.
