Two More Amex Offers Travel Savings Deals
Last week I published a listing of Amex Offers deals that could save you money on upcoming summer travels.
Since then, American Express has added two additional Amex Offers that may be of interest to those traveling in the next few months.
Amex Offers Travel Deals
Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa – Spend $250 or more and get $50 back
Get a one-time $50 statement credit when you use your enrolled American Express card to spend $250+ in one or more transactions on room rate charges and amenities charged to the room at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa.
As with any of these Amex Offers hotel savings deals, you must book your stay directly with the property. Reservations made via third party sites or agents (Expedia, Priceline, Kayak, etc.) will not trigger the statement credit.
This Amex Offer is good through 8/31/18.
SPG Hotels and Resorts – Spend $300 or more and get $60 back
Spend $300 or more on room rate and charges at SPG Hotels and Resorts from 6/15/18 to 9/4/18 and receive a $60 (one-time) statement credit when your enrolled Amex card is used to pay.
Offer is valid at the following SPG Hotels and Resorts in the U.S. and U.S. territories: Aloft®, Element®, Four Points® by Sheraton, Le Méridien®, The Luxury Collection®, Sheraton®, St. Regis®, Tribute Portfolio™, W® Hotels, and Westin®.
Reservations must be made online at spg.com, via the SPG mobile app, or by calling 1-877-782-7966.
Because of the SPG/Marriott merger, it must be made clear that all Marriott brand hotel properties are excluded from this Offer. The statement credit will be triggered only when you stay at one of the properties listed above.
Thoughts
Neither of these deals is earth-shattering when it comes to the amount that can be saved.
Conversely, if you’re planning on traveling during any of the Amex Offers travel deal valid dates, and one of the hotels is being considered, why not pay with your American Express card and save money you otherwise would not have?
As the saying goes, “a dollar saved is a dollar earned.”
