Rakuten, formerly known as Ebates, is giving 12% cash back at most retailers this Saturday, October 12, 2019, only.
Rakuten’s promotion says October 12 is National Savings Day. I’m not aware of a National Savings Day, but if it truly is a thing, I’m all for it. Even if it isn’t a thing, I’m still all-in on any day that provides savings!
Cash Back or Membership Rewards Points Earning
A few days ago we wrote how you can not only earn cash back at Rakuten, but also American Express Membership Rewards points if you choose.
You can have both a cash back earning account and a Membership Rewards earning account with Rakuten, choosing which you want to earn at any given time.
I also mentioned how Rakuten bonus promotions are a great time to build your Membership Rewards balance…as well as your cash back if that’s your choice.
And now we have one of those promotions.
12% Cash Back or Points
Twelve percent cash back ranks up there as one of the higher bonus promotions that Rakuten offers. Fifteen percent is its usual high offer, being offered a few times each year. And every so often we’ll see a higher offer to entice buying.
Earning 12 Membership Rewards points per dollar spent is a fantastic deal.
