One Year of Unlimited Cell Phone Service Free with This Carrier
|Sprint just went nuclear in the cell service wars.
Its recently announced deal offers those who switch cell phone service to Sprint a full year of unlimited talk, text, and data FREE!
There is no contract associated with this deal, so you can cancel at any time. Although, unless the service is absolutely horrible, why would you pass up FREE?
And, surprisingly, there are no activation fees, either.
Simply bring an eligible, paid off and unlocked, phone and your current cell phone number to Sprint and enjoy a year of no cell phone payments.
Of course, any deal has fine print, so let’s take a look.
The deal runs from now 6/14/17 to 6/30/17.
Free service will run through 7/31/18.
After your free year’s service, pricing will be:
- Line 1 – $60/month
- Line 2 – $40/month
- Line 3-5 – $30/month/line
But, you can always switch your service at the end of the free year if there are better offers luring you away.
The deal provides 10GB of data per line. Once the 10GB is used up, data service will continue at 2G speeds (32Kbps). You can purchase more high-speed data monthly ($15) if you feel the need.
Deal requires a Sprint SIM card, eBill and Sprint AutoPay ($5/mo./line discount applied within two invoices)
- If AutoPay is cancelled, you’ll pay $5/mo./line
- If AutoPay and eBill are removed, a $7.99/mo. charge will apply for Account Spending Limit customers
- Your Spending Limit is the monthly maximum amount of spending per phone on your account based on your credit decision
- For accounts with multiple phones, the total spending limit is calculated as the number of phones on the account multiplied by the spending limit per phone.
You must own the phone(s) you’re bringing to Sprint.

If you’re interested in this deal, I encourage you to read all of the offer’s specifics on Sprint’s deal page.
You’ll have to decide if Sprint’s coverage and service are right for you. This often depends on location, although other factors contribute to an individual’s cell service satisfaction, as well. You don’t want to change your service only to find out your previous provider was significantly better.
But, if you’ve done your research, and your phone is eligible, a FREE year of unlimited cell service is hard to pass up.
