CBS All Access Free for One Month – January 2020

This January 2020 deal offers CBS.com’s CBS All Access free for one month.

Update: CBS All Access continues to offer promo codes for free monthly access – check out our Discussion Board post here for updated codes.

This works well for cord-cutters and those who stream their entertainment who want to catch CBS programming for free.

To get the 30-day free trial, apply the promo code: JANUARY at checkout on the CBS All Access site.

Note: The JANUARY promo code is good through January 27, 2020. If you’re reading this past that date, you might still give that promo code a try. If it works, let us know in the comment section below.

Typically, new subscribers will receive 7-days of CBS All Access free – this promo adds three additional weeks to that.

Not a bad deal.

If the JANUARY promo code isn’t still working, targeted American Express cardholders can save on a CBS All Access subscription with a currently available Amex Offer. Read “Streaming TV Amex Offers” for details.

CBS All Access

CBS All Access offers streaming of your local live broadcast, as well as access to 10,000 episodes of CBS shows on-demand any time you want to watch.

There are two subscription plans from which to pick.

  • Limited Commercial Plan – Watch CBS All Access on-demand shows with limited commercial interruptions for $5.99 per month, plus any applicable state taxes.
  • Commercial Free Plan – Enjoy premium viewing of CBS All Access on-demand shows, free from commercial interruption (live TV, obviously, includes commercials) for only $9.99 per month, plus any applicable taxes.

It appears you can select either plan for your free 30-day trial. Once the trial period ends, you’ll be charged the monthly price listed above for the plan you’ve selected.

You can cancel anytime during the 30-day trial to avoid being charged once the trial ends. I’d screenshot your cancellation request just in case something goes wrong with your request.

The JANUARY promotion code appears to work for new, returning and even current subscribers. Current subscribers report their billing date being pushed back by a month once the promo code is entered.

Wrap Up

Obviously, CBS is trying to attract viewers who don’t access CBS programming through cable or satellite to its streaming service.

A 30-day free trial is a pretty good deal for those who’re interested in CBS programming.

Just remember, if you don’t want to continue CBS All Access after the free trial period, cancellations can be done anytime during the initial 30-days.
