Amex Offers – September 2019

In a post titled “American Express Offers – A Great Way to Save” I wrote about the great savings opportunities that can be found just by holding an American Express credit card.

Here are a few recent additions to Amex Offers that could save you some cold, hard cash on your upcoming purchases.  Offers may be targeted, so check your account for availability.

And always be sure to read the fine print of the individual Offers to make sure you’re not missing some important requirements.

Amex Offers Tip – If your Available Amex Offers are at 100, add some Offers to your card, even if you won’t be using them, additional Offers should then populate in your Available list.  It seems 100 Offers is a max that can be shown, opening spots will allow you access to more Offers that may be of interest.

Teleflora – Spend $60 or more and get $20 back up to 10 times

If flowers are on your to-buy list in the coming months, then this Teleflora Amex Offer may be of interest.

Get a $20 statement credit when you use your enrolled American Express card to make a single purchase of $60 or more online at americanexpress.teleflora.com or Teleflora.com.

You can get up to 10 statement credits (total of $200 back) on 10 flower orders with this Offer! Now that’s a lot of flowers.

Deliveries must be completed by the Offer end date and phone orders are excluded.

Offer expires 12/31/19.

Travel Offers

Air France/KLM – Spend $1,000 or more and get 20,000 Membership Rewards Points

Use your enrolled American Express card to spend $1,000 or more in one or more eligible transactions direct with Air France or KLM and get an additional 20,000 Membership Rewards Points.

Flights must originate from the U.S. and be charged in U.S. dollars.

Not valid for purchase made through partner sites, agents, affiliates and third parties.

The Offer expires 10/31/19.

Be sure to check the Offer Terms for additional exclusions before making your purchase.

If you’re planning a European trip, definitely check Air France and KLM for availability and pricing for your specific travel dates. If all else is fairly equal, this Offer is a nice way to earn a sizable amount of Membership Rewards points.

Cambria Hotels – Spend $150+ and get $30 back

Get a one-time $30 statement credit when you use your enrolled Amex card to spend a minimum of $150 on room rate and room charges at Cambria Hotels.

Offer valid at Cambria® locations in the US. Reservations must be made directly with Cambria via choicehotels.com/cambria, the Choice Hotels® mobile app, a Cambria hotel, or by calling 877-424-6423.

Stay must be paid for between the dates of 8/26/19 and 12/31/19.

Waldorf Astoria & Conrad Hotels – Spend $350 or more and get $70 back

Spend $350 or more on room rate and room charges at select Waldorf Astoria and Conrad Hotels from 8/15/19 to 12/31/19 and get a one-time $70 statement credit when your enrolled Amex card is used to pay.

Jewelry Offers

JTV – Spend $50 or more and get $25 back

Use your enrolled American Express card to spend $50 or more in one or more transactions online at jtv.com or by phone at 1-800-619-3000 and receive a one-time $25 statement credit.

Offer is valid through 1/3/2020.

With this, effectively, 50% off deal running through January 3, this might be a great way to save on holiday gift-giving.

Not sure what product quality is like at JTV, but the savings is nice.

Ross-Simons – Spend $100 or more and get $30 back

Get a one-time $30 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $100+ in one or more transactions online at ross-simons.com by 10/30/2019. 

Again, not a bad savings opportunity if jewelry is on your purchase list.

This Offer’s end date is a little earlier than JTV’s, though, so be sure to buy before 10/30/19 if Ross-Simons has anything that is of interest.

American Express Cards

Need an American Express card to access Amex Offers? Or want to add another Amex card to your wallet to potentially see even more Offers? Here are a few suggestions.

Earn 3x points at grocery stores and 2x points at gas stations with a 50% points bonus when you use your card 30 or more times each billing cycle. $95 annual fee.

These a just a few of the many American Express cards available. Every Amex card provides access to Amex Offers, which is a nice benefit if you remember to check recent Offer additions, add them to your card and make the purchase.
