A recently released Amex Offer provides targeted cardholders a bonus for your Amazon Shopping.
If you have this Amex Offer on one of your American Express Membership Rewards earning cards (we haven’t seen it on any other Amex cards) you’ll get 4 additional Membership Rewards points for each dollar spent on eligible purchases online at amazon.com or via the U.S. Amazon mobile app when your enrolled card is used to pay.
The primary exclusion under the “eligible purchases” language is corporate and custom-designed gift card purchases.
Which means, regular gift cards – if that’s what you want to purchase – should earn the 4 additional Membership Rewards points.
Definitely check the fine print associated with this Offer’s Terms to ensure your specific purchase(s) will qualify.
For most cardholders making regular Amazon purchases, this is a nice way to earn bonus Membership Rewards points.
There is a limit of 1,500 bonus Membership Rewards points that can be earned through this Offer.
And, the Offer expires 12/31/2019.
