Walmart to Begin Free Drive-in Movies at Select Locations
|Walmart will begin showing free drive-in movies at select Walmart locations beginning August 14, 2020, and running through October 21, 2020.
The free drive-in movie series is a result of a partnership between Walmart and Tribeca Film Festival.
Walmart Drive-in Movies
There are a number of movies slated to be shown as part of this drive-in movie series, a few of which include:
- Ghostbusters
- The Wizard of Oz
- Black Panther
- E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
- Spy Kids
- The LEGO Movie
- Wonder Woman
- Friday Night Lights
- And More
The drive-ins will be located in the parking lots of 160 Walmart stores nationwide.
According to an article by Rachel Yang in Entertainment, “Ahead of each feature presentation, audiences will screen one of a number of short films, including Bilby, Bird Karma, Brooklyn Breeze, CROW: The Legend, Fire in Cardboard City, INVASION!, Looney Tunes’ Boo! Appetweet, and Marooned.“
So, not only do you get to enjoy a full-length feature film, but a short film will be included, too, all for free.
