U.S. to Europe Airfares – $400s Roundtrip

Update:  It appears many of these fantastic airfare deals are now gone.  As with most deals, and especially airfare deals, the time to act is limited. You may still be able to find decent fares, they just might be harder to search out. Give Google Flights a look and see what deals may still be out there from your location.

American Airlines and Delta Airlines appear to be in a fare war and those looking for inexpensive tickets to Europe are the winners.

These low to mid $400 airfares have been available since yesterday (April 10), so you may want to act fast if you’re interested…they could be pulled at any time.

And, interestingly, many of the good fare deals can be found out of smaller markets, think Austin, Pittsburgh, Kansas City and the like.  Which means you don’t necessarily need to read out piece, “Take Advantage of Airfare Deals No Matter the Departure Airport.”

Limited availability can be found in the next 3-4 weeks for some routes, but then when the summer travel season hits it disappears.  Not to worry, though, it picks back up in a big way starting in September and running through early 2018.

Here’s a look at October/November 2017 availability from Cleveland to Paris via a Google Flights search.

The Flight Deal has a comprehensive listing of European destinations and the U.S. cities where the airfare deals can be found.

Check this post for the American Airlines flights.

And this post for the Delta flights.

And, don’t forget, if your nearest airport doesn’t have the low airfare available, read our Take Advantage of Airfare Deals post so you don’t miss out on this fantastic airfare deal.

Did you take advantage of this fare war to Europe?
