The Shell Fuel Rewards $0.20 Per Gallon Discount is Set for October 20, 2023 – Activate by October 17th
Shell’s Fuel Rewards program is offering its one-day discount promotion for October – specifically, Friday, October 20, 2023.
You can save $0.20 per gallon on a fill up on that date.
As we’ve seen in the past, you will need to activate the offer to get the benefit.
Activation must take place by the end of day, Tuesday, October 17th.
And, as we’ve also seen in the past, you likely will have to activate this promotion via the Activate Offer button on the promo’s email to you.
I still have not heard of other ways to activate these Shell discount offers. Please comment if you have.
So, check your email account for the Fuel Rewards email…mine was sent October 13th…titled “Friday the 13th Savings Special: 20 cents/gal!” And, the email language states to “Activate this offer below by the end of October 17th and fill up on October 20th…”
The Friday, October 20th fill up (at least 10 gallons*) will trigger the promotion’s $0.20 per gallon savings on that purchase.
*Note the increased minimum gallon purchase requirement to trigger the savings. It used to be 5 gallons.
Here are the full terms, I’ve highlighted what I believe are the most important points:

Again, you must activate the $0.20 per gallon promo discount offer to be eligible.
And, of course, use a Fuel Rewards account linked credit card or sign in at the pump prior to filling up to ensure you get the discount.

Gold Status with Fuel Rewards gives members 5 cents off per gallon of gas up to 20 gallons per fill up, while Silver Status provides a 3 cent per gallon savings.
Once you’ve signed up for the Fuel Rewards program, simply swipe your Fuel Rewards card, your Single Swipe enabled payment card (credit card) or enter your Alt Id (usually it’s the phone number you provide when setting up the account) at the pump and your per gallon savings will automatically appear.
