What can make the savings really good, though, is the recently released Sherwin-Williams Amex Offer.

The Amex Offer provides a one-time $25 statement credit when you use your enrolled American Express card to make a single purchase of $100 or more in-store at Sherwin-Williams by 11/30/2018.

If your home sprucing project will entail the purchase of $100 or more of paints, stains, or wallpaper, after factoring the upcoming sale price, you can save another $25 just by using your Amex card to pay!

It’s been a year or so since I last needed to buy paint or stain, so I don’t remember exactly, but I think a gallon of quality paint or stain runs $25-$30.

So, about 5 gallons, after the sale discount, will hit the $100 mark triggering the $25 Amex Offer statement credit.

Remember, Amex Offers are triggered by the amount charged and reported to American Express.  Which means sales tax will also be part of the total, helping just a bit more to hit that $100 mark.
