August 2022 – There’s a new Shell Fuel Rewards savings promotion for August 20, 2022, that you can read about at this link.
Update/Clarification – You won’t get the $0.20 per gallon discount TODAY, rather, you’ll earn the discount when you fill up today which can then be used on a future fill up. Says to check your account 3-5 business days after you make the qualifying purchase for the $0.20/gallon reward.
Shell’s Fuel Rewards program is offering members an extra $0.20 per gallon discount on their gasoline purchase this Monday, June 20, 2022.
This is a promo to celebrate the Fuel Rewards program’s 10 year anniversary.
The $0.20 per gallon savings is in addition to any other per gallon savings amount you may already have on your Fuel Rewards account. So this could be a really nice per-gallon savings opportunity.
You must activate the $0.20 per gallon promo discount offer prior to making the purchase.
And, of course, use a Fuel Rewards account linked credit card or sign in at the pump prior to filling up to ensure you get the discount.

If you’re not familiar with the program, Fuel Rewards provides discounts on gasoline purchases at participating Shell gas stations.
Gold Status with Fuel Rewards gives members 5 cents off per gallon of gas up to 20 gallons per fill up, while Silver Status provides a 3 cent per gallon savings.
Once you’ve signed up for the Fuel Rewards program, simply swipe your Fuel Rewards card, your Single Swipe enabled payment card (credit card) or enter your Alt Id (usually it’s the phone number you provide when setting up the account) at the pump and your per gallon savings will automatically appear.
Additional per gallon savings can be had when you link to dining, shopping or other programs.

As you may know, we at Savings Beagle have no connection to the Shell Fuel Rewards program or this specific promotion. We just publish deals that we hope will benefit our readers’ bottom line.
Personally, I took advantage of this deal, making the June 20 purchase and then saw the $0.20/gallon discount on my Fuel Rewards account on Friday, June 24 at which time I used it to save on another fill-up. So, the discounts are being posted.
I would contact the Fuel Rewards program – you can get contact info at this link – and ask when to expect the $0.20/per gallon discount to post on your account.
There have been previous Fuel Rewards promos where they were less than timely in posting earned rewards…this may be one of those times, at least on some accounts.

While a little bit of a gamble, the $0.20 per gallon discount should show at the pump when you sign in/swipe a connected credit card to your Fuel Rewards account. Not sure if it’ll ask if you want to use it or automatically apply to your transaction. So, it likely doesn’t show on your account online, but will at the pump.
Can anyone confirm the discount showing at the pump.
