Sam’s Club Household Essentials Promo: Spend $60 and Save $15
|Sam’s Club is offering a promotion on select Proctor and Gamble household essential products beginning today and running through September 15, 2019.
When you place a ship to home or Club Pickup order of participating Proctor and Gamble household essentials items totaling $60 or more, you’ll receive $15 off at checkout.
Just be sure your total is $60 or more of products which are part of the promotion – tax and shipping charges do not count toward the $60 minimum.
And, the $60 or more purchase must be made in one transaction.
You can view participating items at the link below.

Sam’s Club Membership
If you’re not a Sam’s Club member, you might be suspect as to whether or not a membership is worth getting for this deal.
Well, it’s probably not. At least just for this Household Essentials deal.
But there are other savings opportunities to be found even if you’re not buying for a large family.
As an example, my wife and I have found that certain products can produce enough savings to make a Sam’s Club membership worth it.
Razor blades were a big one where we could get enough savings over a year to more than offset the membership fee. That’s changed somewhat but is still possible depending on the blades purchased.
It wasn’t until a few years ago, though, that I found how valuable Sam’s Club Pharmacy pricing is.
If you don’t have insurance that covers your prescription drugs, you can find a number of prescriptions at incredibly low prices. As low as $4 for a month’s supply. And for a select number of prescriptions, there is no cost at all.
You do have to have a Sam’s Plus membership to take advantage of the prescription pricing. A Plus membership costs $100 per year.
But, you can upgrade your Sam’s Club membership right at the pharmacy checkout the first time you purchase your prescription(s). Meaning, the difference in price – $55 – will be tacked on to the prescription price.
If you think you might be able to save on your prescriptions with a Sam’s Club membership, read my piece, “Sam’s Club Pharmacies Offer Great Savings on Prescription Drugs,” to get more info and see the pricing document first.
Then, if you can benefit, check to see if there are any deals on a Select Club membership, the price of which typically runs $45 per year.
While not the best sign-up deal we’ve seen for Sam’s Club, this $20 eGift Card and $30 Instant Savings Package for signing up online isn’t too bad.
And once you’re a member, you can take advantage of the Household Essential promotion, saving another $15 off your $60 participating items purchase.
Save/Earn Even More
When you make an online purchase at Sam’s Club, always be sure to check the current cash back or Miles and Points earning options at Cashback Monitor first.
Currently, the earning rates are just okay. Cash back and Miles and Points rates can change daily, so check back whenever you’re planning an online purchase.

If you’re already a Sam’s Club member, you can stack the Household Essentials promo by going through a cash back or Miles and Points earning portal first and then on to Sam’s Club to make your online purchase.
You’ll save the $15 and earn at the same time!
Wrap Up
The Sam’s Club Household Essentials promotion is a nice way to save on items you use every day.
Just be sure to add $60 or more of participating items (link above) and you’ll save $15 at checkout.
Saving just couldn’t be easier.
Where is the form to fill out to get the reward? Who has a scanner at home to scan in a receipt? The picture quality is negligible, so will that be used to deny payment? How do you know to whom to “send” the gift card if there is no form? This is not a user friendly promotion. If I had known this, I would not have bought the products I did. The entire promotion is designed to make the consumer give up and not claim the reward. Shame on you. Do not keep my name on file. Just tell me how to finish this successfully today.
Hi,
Thanks for your comment. We wanted to make a quick response.
Savings Beagle is not affiliated with Sam’s Club, P&G or this promotion in any way. We simply publish money-saving deals that may be of interest to our readers.
We agree that this promotion is a bit challenging (to put it nicely), which is why we stated, “While this promo isn’t as easy as past deals, if you’re willing to take the time to submit your receipt, it’s a fairly easy $15 to grab just for stocking up on household essentials.”
The requirement to create an account and submit your receipt are definitely hurdles to weed customers out from getting the $15 gift card.
That said, here are a few points that may help you to get your gift card.
The link for setting up an account and submitting your receipt is here. We also linked to it in the post above.
If you don’t want to take a photo of your paper receipt via your smartphone or other device to submit, you can log in to your Sam’s club account and access your purchase history (both for online and in-club purchases), screenshot the receipt that has the $60+ worth of P&G purchases and upload that receipt image.
We haven’t taken advantage of this promo, so we can’t say for sure exactly how the upload process works, but if it’s like other submission platforms you’ll click upload and search for the image you want to submit.
Again, Savings Beagle has no connection to this promotion at all. We only provide this info in hopes it eases the process for submitting your receipt and ultimately getting the $15 Sam’s gift card. Which is our goal for posting this deal in the first place…to help everyone save money and better their financial situation.
If readers have other suggestions on how to submit the required info for this promotion, please pass them along in the comment section.
Thanks again for your comment.
