Order Your 4 Free At-Home Covid Tests Now Via This Postal Service Link
|It looks as though the free government at-home Covid tests are now available to order.
Interestingly, the link to do so is on the U.S. Postal Service website.
I guess since they’re the government entity sending them, that makes (some) sense.
If you’re interested in having a few Covid tests available for future use, might as well get your name in the queue.
Per the USPS site:
Residential households in the U.S. can order one set of 4 free at-home tests from USPS.com. Here’s what you need to know about your order:
- Limit of one order per residential address
- One order includes 4 individual rapid antigen COVID-19 tests
- Orders will ship free starting in late January
You can fill out the order form at the link below.

Insurance Coverage of Tests
If you have private health insurance, you should be able to order free Covid tests from them as well. Or, get reimbursed for the purchase price if your insurance company isn’t providing them directly.
Just keep in mind, while the U.S. government has framed this as insurance companies providing these tests free of charge, that’s not actually how it’ll play out.
You’ll pay when your health insurance plan offerings are renegotiated later this year and your monthly premiums increase for the coming year.
