Get $5 Off $50 at Target.com When You Use PayPal to Pay

On its face, getting $5 off $50 at Target.com when you use PayPal to pay doesn’t seem like a great deal.

But, it is 10% when your purchase is at or close to $50.

And that savings is for doing nothing more than using PayPal to pay at checkout.

How to Take Advantage

First you’ll need to log in to your PayPal account and head to the “Shopping” link at the top of the landing page.

Under “Current Deals” you’ll see the Target Get $5 off $50 link.

Click “Get Deal” and you’ll be taken to Target.com where you can select your purchases.

Remember, Target is offering free shipping through December 21, 2019, no matter the amount of your order.

Once you’ve added $50 or more to your cart, head to the checkout page and look for the PayPal pay link. Clicking this link to pay will take you back to the PayPal page to let you select your payment method.

You should have already linked your Freedom card to PayPal to take advantage of this quarter’s 5%/5x deals, so make sure it’s selected as your primary payment method and make the payment.

And boom, just like that you’re saving $5 off your Target.com order and earning cash back/Ultimate Rewards points thanks to Chase.

If you don’t have a Chase Freedom card, you’ll still get the $5 savings thanks to PayPal.
