Free Starbucks When You Use Chase Pay
|Earlier this week I wrote about Dunkin’ offering a free $5 when MasterPass was used to load money onto your DD Perks card. I also mentioned how I’d used similar deals from other digital wallet systems to feed my coffee addiction, Chase Pay being one.
Well lo and behold, along comes an offer from Starbucks and Chase Pay that’ll give you 300 Bonus Stars when you load $20 or more in the Starbucks App using Chase Pay.
What the Deal Gets You
300 Bonus Stars is enough for two FREE Starbucks drinks or food items.
And, 300 Bonus Stars are also enough to get you Gold status for the next year.
Chase Pay
Have a Chase consumer credit or debit card? Then you can use Chase Pay.
You can learn more about Chase Pay at this link.
Put succinctly, Chase Pay is a digital wallet that is used for mobile payments. When you see the Chase Pay logo within an App, or on a website, simply click the icon, login to your Chase Pay account (which is your Chase login info) and pay. Your personal information, as well as credit card details, are stored in Chase Pay and are automatically used to pay. No filling out name, address and credit card number, it’s entered, or accessed, automatically.
Making a purchase couldn’t be easier.
Starbucks App and Chase Pay
To take advantage of the Starbucks 300 Bonus Stars deal, simply open the Starbucks App on your smartphone, go to the reload section of the App and look for the Chase Pay icon.
If you’ve already signed up for Chase Pay, you’ll be able to select the amount you want to load to your Starbucks account – $20+ in this case – and submit.
If you haven’t signed up for Chase Pay yet, you’ll be able to do so by clicking on the Chase Pay icon and following the instructions.
Wrap Up
These digital wallet deals come around every so often. 300 Bonus Stars is a pretty good offer, although the $20 requirement is on the high side. If you frequent Starbucks a lot, this deal is a no-brainer. If you don’t, I’m not sure I’d jump at this.
