A number of establishments are offering free donuts today, June 1, 2018, to celebrate National Donut Day.

This is an off-the-wall free donut offering in that the “donut” is actually a fresh, crisp Granny Smith apple that is carefully hand-dipped in real, gourmet semisweet chocolate, then artfully decorated with colorful chocolate glaze and finished off with sprinkles. A more healthy alternative to a traditional donut…maybe.

Kwik Trip stores are offering one free glazed donut with your Kwik Rewards card today. Limit one donut per Kwik Rewards account.
Walmart is giving away glazed donuts at its U.S. stores. Just stop by the bakery area and grab your free glazed donut while supplies last. While not specified, I’m sure the limit is one per person.
