Target's Annual Target Gift Card Sale (10% Off) is Scheduled for December 2nd and 3rd

Target's annual Target gift card sale is set for Saturday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 3rd this year.

It looks as though the terms are the same as last year:

  • You must be a Target Circle member to buy
  • One purchase/transaction per Target Circle account
  • Can buy up to $500 worth ($50 savings) - multiple gift cards up to $500 are okay
  • Purchases can be made in-store or at target.com/Target app
  • Additional coupons will not apply

While not stated directly, I vaguely remember you have to add the Target Circle offer to your account prior to purchasing...although, I'm not 100% sure that's accurate.

This is a great way for regular Target shoppers to save 10% on everyday purchases by prepaying upcoming shopping trips via these discounted Target gift cards.

Use the discounted Target gift cards in-store, or load them to your Target Circle account to use for online or in-store purchases.

An added bonus for Chase Freedom/Freedom Flex credit card holders is you can save 5%, or earn 5x Ultimate Rewards points, on these discounted Target gift card purchases by paying with a Freedom/Freedom Flex via the PayPal checkout option for online purchases.

Don't have a Freedom Flex card?  You might want to check out this fantastic sign-up offer.

Again, this promo doesn't begin until Saturday, December 2nd.

For those who take advantage of this promotion each year, this is notice to mark your calendar and pick the payment method that best suits your financial strategies.

We'll update this post just before the promo goes live.
