Back in early 2020, we wrote about Dunkin and Shell’s Fuel Rewards program teaming up to offer per gallon discounts on Shell gasoline purchases after every five Dunkin’ beverages purchases. All you had to do was link your Dunkin Perks and Shell Fuel Rewards accounts to start saving.

Now, for a limited time – through October 15 to be exact – for every 5 Dunkin’ beverages you purchase, you’ll receive $0.15 off per gallon at Shell gas stations. That’s a $0.05 per gallon increase over the regular rate.

Obviously, you’ll have to be enrolled in the Dunkin’/Shell Fuel Rewards promotion.

And if you’ve already linked your Dunkin’/Fuel Rewards accounts, just be aware of the increased per gallon earning offer now through October 15, 2022.

Interestingly, when the original promotion was introduced in February of 2020, it was considered a limited time deal – through December 2020 – but it’s been continued, allowing those with linked accounts to continue to save on their gasoline purchases for every 5 Dunkin’ beverages that are bought.

A decent deal for those who regularly stop by a Dunkin’ for their coffee fix.

Especially with gasoline prices as high as they are these days.

So, if you’ve been taking advantage of this promo, be sure to maximize the current $0.15 per gallon deal through mid-October.

All you have to do is link your Dunkin’ DD Perks account with your Shell Fuel Rewards account and you’ll save $0.25 per gallon on your next fill-up.

And just like that, your Dunkin’ fix has saved on your Shell fill-up.

Then, you’ll save $0.10 per gallon on each fill-up after the purchase of 5 beverages using your DD Perks app or card to buy.

If you don’t have one, or either, of the loyalty accounts already set up, you can easily do that along the way.

Once both your loyalty accounts are connected, you’re set to begin earning your current bonus of $0.15 off per gallon and $0.10 off per gallon after the promo ends with each 5 Dunkin’ beverages you purchase.

Just remember to enter your Shell Fuel Rewards number at the pump to use your promo savings. Or link a credit card to your Shell Fuel Rewards account to automatically trigger your account/savings when it’s swiped at the pump.

This promotion runs through December 31, 2020, so you have plenty of time to drink, earn and save multiple times over.

Of course, every promotion has details of which to be aware. Here are this promo’s.

The $0.25 off per gallon linking promotion is must be taken advantage of by 4/30/20.

And you must purchase at least 5 gallons to trigger the savings.

Additionally:

• Rewards typically post to your account within 72 hours.
• Fuel Rewards savings expire on the last day of the month, 2 months after they post to your Fuel Rewards account. For example, rewards that post to your account on May 8 will expire on July 31.
• Fuel Rewards savings are limited to 20 gallons of fuel per purchase, per vehicle.
