Earn Bonus American Airlines Miles with This Shopping Portal Promo

American Airlines’ AAdvantage eShopping portal is offering 500 bonus American miles when $200 is spent now through June 15, 2020.

I’m a little surprised American is the only airline offering a shopping portal bonus.

You’d think all airlines would want to keep members attached to their loyalty programs during this time of limited travel.

And the best way to do that is to offer miles earning for non-flying activities.

Maybe we’ll see United, Delta, Alaska and Southwest follow in the next day or so.

Right now, however, you can earn some bonus AA miles just for doing some online shopping.

The promotion’s terms and conditions are similar to previous promotions’.

The one-time 500-mile bonus will be earned on qualifying purchases made via the AAdvantage eShopping portal
It’s based on cumulative spend, so the $200 required spend does not have to be at one retailer or in a lump sum
Qualifying purchases do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift cards or other cash equivalent purchases

And, once again, this promotion is good June 8, 2020 – June 15, 2020, only.
