Amex Offers – Holiday Travel 2016 Edition
In a post titled “American Express Offers – A Great Way to Save” I wrote about the great savings opportunities that can be found if you are an American Express cardholder.
As we head into the holiday travel season, here are a few recent additions to Amex Offers that could save you some cold, hard cash on your upcoming travels.
Whether it’s traveling to see family, or taking down-time at work to fit in that vacation you’ve been oh-so-needing, these offers can keep more dollars in your pocket, or in one case, add to your Membership Rewards balance.
Offers may be targeted, so check your account for availability. And, as with any deal, be sure to read the associated fine print before purchasing.
Hilton Hotels & Resorts – Spend $250 or more, get $50 back
Use your enrolled card to spend $250+ on room rate and room charges and get a 1-time $50 credit. Must book direct with Hilton Hotels and Resorts to get the credit.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino – Spend $200 or more, get $40 back
Use your enrolled card to spend $200+ on room rate and room charges and get a 1-time $40 statement credit. Credit will be applied when enrolled card is used to pay for your stay at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa or Hollywood Florida.
Waldorf Astoria & Conrad – Spend $350 or more, get $70 back
Use your enrolled card to spend $350+ on room rate and room charges and get a 1-time $70 statement credit. Must book direct with Waldorf Astoria or Conrad hotels to receive the credit.
Courtyard by Marriott – Spend $100 or more, get 2,000 Membership Rewards points
Use your enrolled card to spend $100+ on room rate and room charges at participating properties and get a one-time award of 2,000 additional Membership Rewards points.
There is also a Delta Airlines Amex Offer floating out there that will provide a $60 credit on a $300 or more purchase at Delta. Unfortunately, I wasn’t targeted for this offer, but if you were, that’s a nice savings on airfare to see family, or visit a warm locale, this holiday season.
