Free Major League Baseball games are available almost everyday at mlb.tv. You will need an account, but it is free and you don’t ever have to enter credit card information.
The MBL.TV app is available through all popular platforms like Roku, Amazon FireTV, The Play Store and your PC. From personal experience, the Roku app is limiting. To watch games that are more than a day old, I go online.
The video quality is excellent and in addition to a featured free game of the day, you may also view condensed versions of all the games as soon as they are archived. I like to watch the previous night’s Pirate’s game while I am eating breakfast. I wish they would show more plays, but this option edits out routine outs, walks, etc. Still, I can get a great overview of the action in under 10 minutes.
