Amex Offers – November 2017
In a post titled “American Express Offers – A Great Way to Save” I wrote about the great savings opportunities that can be found if you are an American Express cardholder.
Here are a few recent additions to Amex Offers that could save you some cold, hard cash on your holiday gift giving and travels. Offers may be targeted, so check your account for availability.
And always be sure to read the fine print of the individual Offers to make sure you’re not missing some important requirements.
Gap and Old Navy – SPEND $50 OR MORE AND GET $10 BACK
Get a one-time $10 statement credit when your enrolled American Express card is used to spend $50+ on a single purchase in-store at Gap and Old Navy by 11/23/2017.
Just to reinforce, this Offer is valid in-store only, it will not work for online purchases.
Waldorf Astoria and Conrad Hotels – SPEND $350 OR MORE AND GET $70 BACK
Use your enrolled American Express card to spend a minimum of $350 on room rate and room charges at a Waldorf Astoria or Conrad property from 11/1/2017 to 2/28/2018, and get a one-time $70 statement credit.
Reservations must be made at waldorfastoria.com or conradhotels.com, via the Hilton App or by calling the toll free numbers listed on the Amex Offer. Only good at U.S. and U.S. Territories’ properties.
If traveling’s on your agenda for this holiday season, and a Waldorf Astoria or Conrad property is near your destination, this is a nice way to save a little on your hotel expenses.
FedEx Office – SPEND $10 OR MORE AND GET $5 BACK
Get a one-time $5 statement credit when your enrolled card is used to make a single purchase of $10 or more in-store or at fedex.com/office by 1/31/2018
This Offer is somewhat limited in that it excludes A LOT of services, including shipping services. But, if your purchase falls under the “print services” designation, then a potential 50% savings isn’t too bad.
Petco – SPEND $25 OR MORE AND GET $5 BACK
Get a one-time $5 statement credit by using your enrolled American Express card to spend $25+ in one or more transactions in-store or at petco.com by 12/31/2017.
Pet owners know the holidays are a time to spoil our furry friends. Whether it’s extra treats, or a new toy or two, it should be very easy to grab this statement credit. And if holiday spending won’t get it done, a bag of food sure will.
