Amazon Shoppers Can Potentially Save on Amazon Purchases with These Credit Card Deals

Amazon shoppers can potentially save on their Amazon purchases with the various credit card deals that are currently available.

We’ve put together a masterlist of all the credit card deals of which we’re aware.

All you have to do is ensure the credit card you have added to your Amazon Wallet as a payment method is enrolled in the “Shop with Points” program and then check the appropriate link(s) below to see if your Amazon account has been targeted for any of the listed savings deals.

If you’re not familiar with these Amazon / credit card promos, only the bank-specific rewards points earning cards are eligible for these deals:

  • Membership Rewards for American Express cards
  • Capital One Rewards for Capital One cards
  • Ultimate Rewards for Chase cards
  • ThankYou Points for Citi cards
  • Cashback Bonus Points for Discover cards

Cards that do not earn those rewards points will not work for the Amazon deals listed below.

And, these are targeted deals. Not everyone will have a savings deal available. But it’s definitely worth checking the links to see.

Now on to the currently available money-saving deals.

Credit Card Deal Specifics

These requirements apply no matter the credit card deal you’re using.

  1. The credit card must be added to your Amazon Wallet (as a payment option)
  2. The credit card must be enrolled in its “Shop with Points” program
  3. Then click the specific credit card deal links above to check availability to you
  4. All deals only apply to products “sold and shipped by Amazon.com” unless otherwise noted. Look for that language on a product’s page near the shipping dates or “Add to Cart” / “Buy Now” buttons.
  5. When paying, use at least 1 reward point to trigger the deal’s discount.  Typically, the less points used the better.
  6. Discount will be reflected at checkout.

If a deal is not available on your Amazon account, you can try removing the credit card from your Amazon Wallet and re-adding it to the Wallet and the Shop with Points program.  This can sometimes trigger a deal on an account.

And, deals are added to accounts at varying times.  If you don’t have a deal on your account, keep checking periodically to see if it’s been added.

Wrap Up

Even though these Amazon / credit card deals are limited to items shipped and sold by Amazon, there are a large number of products that fit into that category. Amazon, itself, sells a lot of stuff!

So, saving money on products you want or need can be pretty easy if you have one of these credit card deals available to you.

This post is a snapshot of the savings opportunities that are currently available. These deals do expire…and then are sometimes revived for a longer duration with more accounts being targeted.

Year-end, though, is when most finish up, with new ones being offered in the new year.

Savings Beagle will post updates and new Amazon / credit card deals on the Masterlist post in the Savings Beagle Discussion Board’s Amazon Savings Opportunities topic.

For future deals, subscribe to the topic, or check back periodically to see if you can save.
