Visible Wireless Provider Offering a Free Cell Phone When You Swap Your Old Device and Start Service

Visible, a Verizon MVNO, is offering a free cell phone when you swap your old device and begin cell service with them.

Here’s a quick rundown on Visible for those – many of you likely – who aren’t familiar with what Visible is.

Visible is a wireless service provider, otherwise known as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), who leases space on a larger wireless provider’s network…in Visible’s case, Verizon’s…and sells that wireless service at a lower price-point.

Visible has one wireless plan, which makes choosing service a bit less confusing.

Its single line, unlimited plan prices at $40, all in, and includes:

• Unlimited talk
• Unlimited text
• Unlimited data
• Mobile hotspot
• And no contracts, you can cancel anytime

As with any “unlimited” plan, be aware there will likely be data caps/throttling at some point.

And, Visible runs on Verizon’s network, helping to assure widespread connectivity.

Although, as I always warn with cell phone deals, whether any plan is right for you depends on the locations you’ll be using the wireless service most. Even the best networks have areas in which their service is spotty.

The Visible Free Phone Deal

The Visible free phone deal allows those not currently on Visible to swap an old device for a brand new one – Motorola Moto e6 or Visible ZTE Blade A3 Prime – when you transfer your phone number to Visible.

The process is:

• Check your phone to see if it will work on Visible. If it won’t, you can trade it for one that will.
• Choose a new phone – Visible will ship your new phone and SIM card to you, as well as a box in which you can send your old phone to them.
• Then, sign up for Visible service and transfer your current phone number when you set up and activate your new phone.
• To avoid being charged for you new phone, send your old phone to Visible within 14 days.

Just Go with Visible Service

If you are happy with your current phone, but are interested in Visible’s service, you can always stick with your current device and just transfer service.

Visible currently has a deal where your first month’s wireless charge will be $25 when you bring your own device.

Wrap Up

I can’t personally vouch for Visible, but I’ve read a number of reviews and comments and it seems many subscribers are happy with the service…and price.

These deals…the free phone for transferring and money for bringing your own phone to Visible…are intriguing.

And it’s a positive that Visible runs on the Verizon network, making it likely your Verizon phone will work on Visible, and your service will be comparable to what you’re used to…just less expensive.

But, do your own research before taking advantage of either of these deals.
