Starbucks is offering a $5 Starbucks eGift Card (enough for most Starbucks drinks) when you purchase a Starbucks eGift Card of $15 or more via the Starbucks app using a Mastercard to pay.
This promotion runs now through November 22, 2019, or until 150,000 promotional gifts are distributed.

Follow the steps below during the Promotion Period to receive the $5 Promotional Gift:
- First, visit Starbucks.com or the Starbucks app.
- Second, fill out the required fields and purchase a Starbucks eGift Card of $15 or more using your Mastercard. You must use a unique email address and a unique Mastercard account number when you purchase the eGift.
While some of the promo’s language says you have to buy via the Starbucks app, there have been reports that eGift Card purchases at Starbucks.com trigger the $5 promotional eGift Card gift, too.
Just be sure to pay with a Mastercard credit card to be eligible for the free $5 eGfit Card.

Once you purchase the $15 eGift Card, look for a promo email to the email address tied to your Starbucks account. This email will include directions on how to redeem your $5 eGift Card.
This is a nice bonus should you be buying a Starbucks eGift Card for someone else for the holidays.
