The only downsides to TopCashback are that they can, at times, be a little buggy with the tracking of earned cash back. Be sure to note the cash back amount offered, as well as the date, when you make a purchase should you need to contact them about missing cash back earnings. Which, actually, is a good practice no matter the shopping platform used.
And, they don’t reward new members with a sign-up bonus – typically – aside from what will be earned as a result of purchases.

Tell-a-Friend Referral Specifics
The TopCashback Tell-a-Friend referral program has a few rules that need to be followed to ensure a referral bonus is earned.
First, you must generate a referral link at the Tell-a-Friend page, and the person(s) you refer must use that link to sign-up.
Second, for the Tell-a-Friend bonus to be applied to your account, the person(s) you refer must authenticate their TopCashback account, and reach a minimum earned cashback threshold of $10 cashback. So, for example, if a friend clicks through TopCashback to a retailer which is paying 10% cash back, a purchase of $100 would trigger the referral bonus to you. The referral bonus is based on earned cash back, not how much is spent at a specific retailer.
And, your $35 referral bonus will become payable when the person you have referred has a minimum of $10 cashback at “payable” status. Payable status can take up to a few weeks, and sometimes longer, depending on how long the retailer takes to confirm the transaction details.
So don’t expect the $35 referral bonuses to be available right away.
