The price of Amazon Prime will increase to $119 per year for an annual membership, from its current rate of $99 per year.
An annual Prime Student membership will increase as well, from its current $49 to $59.
These price increases become effective May 11, 2018, for new subscribers.
Current Prime members will be charged the new annual rate starting with renewals June 16, 2018, and beyond.
