The Final Week of the 2022 U.S. Travel Association’s Daily Getaways Starts Monday, July 25 and Ends Friday, July 29 – See All the Deal Offerings in Our Post
|The U.S. Travel Association’s Daily Getaways travel deals for 2022 starts its second and final week of deals tomorrow, Monday, July 25.
Each day this coming week will offer some sort of travel deal. Whether it’s a good fit for you and your budget is the question.
Give the availability a scan and see if there’s anything that piques your interest.
With that in mind, here’s the second week of Daily Getaways travel deals.
Daily Getaways Second/Final Week Deals
Daily Getaways Details
Monday
Universal Orlando tickets/package deals will start off week two’s Daily Getaways deals.
- Universal Orlando Two 3-days tickets for $742 (40 ticket packages available)
- Universal Orlando Resort VIP Experience for $1,953 (4 available)
- Universal Orlando Vacation Package for 4 for $3,549 (5 packages available)
If any of these Universal Orlando deals are of interest, be sure to check the specifics associated with each…especially the dates of travel section and whether there are blackout dates of which to be aware.
Tuesday
Four Choice Privileges points packages are up for grabs on Tuesday.
Each deal is for a specific location with varying stay benefits.
Here are each with a quick overview.
- 14,000 Choice Privileges points for $84 (1,147 packages available)
- 28,000 Choice Privileges points for $155 (1,561 packages available)
- 42,000 Choice Privileges points for $220 (1,300 packages available)
- 55,000 Choice Privileges points for $285 (1,590 packages available)
You can purchase up to four (4) sets of points through a particular offer.
As with any hotel loyalty points purchase, it’s best to use them to top off for an award stay you’re already planning. Probably not worth buying just to have on hand.
Wednesday
Marriott Bonvoy eGift Cards are available on Wednesday.
You can choose from:
- $100 Marriott eGift Card for $80.
- $250 Marriott eGift Card for $200.
- $500 Marriott eGift Card for $400.
This is a straight-up save 20% deal on your next Marriott stay/purchase(s). Buy a gift card and use it for a Marriott stay, or at a Marriott spa, retail store, golf or for food and beverage at a Marriott property.
The $500 eGift Card has a purchase restriction of 1, while the $250 eGift Card allows for the purchase of 2, and 3 of the $100 eGift Cards can be purchased.
These Marriott eGfit Cards tend to be popular, so if you’re interested, be ready to buy right when they go on sale.
Thursday
Two Venetian Resort Las Vegas Suite packages are up for sale. Below is a brief overview of each. More details can be found on the description page.
Three (3) nights in a Grand King Suite at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas for $850. Book and travel by December 27, 2023. Purchase limit – 1 package. 15 packages available.
Three (3) nights in a Grand One Bedroom Suite in The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas for $950. Book and travel by December 27, 2023. Purchase limit – 1 package. 15 packages available.
These packages only include room, tax and resort fee, but still, usually provide decent value if you’re looking for an upscale stay during your Vegas trip.
Unfortunately, blackout dates may apply, so there may be some stay restrictions to deal with after purchasing. As long as you’re okay with a little flexibility for your Vegas travels, it shouldn’t be too big of an issue.
Friday
The final day brings the deal most look forward to from the day the Daily Getaways is announced…Hyatt points.
This year there are three World of Hyatt points packages available.
- 30,000 World of Hyatt Points for $396 (2 packages available)
- 50,000 World of Hyatt Points for $660 (6 packages available)
- 80,000 World of Hyatt Points for $960 (8 packages available)
The terms are a bit conflicting, but I’d say you’re not allowed to purchase more than 1 package of points for each offering.
The reality, however, is that you’ll be extremely lucky to even get to purchase one package, period.
These are much coveted, and will be gone the second they are offered at 1:00 p.m. Friday.
If you’re one of the very lucky ones to get a World of Hyatt points package, like I say each and every year, then run out and buy a lottery ticket, because luck is very much on your side that day!
And with the World of Hyatt points packages being sold out, that will bring to an end the U.S. Travel Association’s Daily Getaways promotion for 2022.
Daily Getaways Ins and Outs
All Daily Getaways deals go on sale at 1:00 pm ET the day they are listed.
Deal quantities are listed on an individual deal’s page on the Daily Getaways calendar. For popular deals, they will go quickly, so be ready to click the “Buy Now” button right at 1:00 pm.
Actually, if there is any deal in which you’re interested, just to be safe I’d be ready to buy right at 1:00 pm when the deal opens.
As with anything in life, the details matter, so for deals you’re interested in, be sure to look at the fine print…it’s listed on each individual deal at the Daily Getaways site.
That said, scope out the deals that interest you for this week, set your cell phone alarm for 12:50 pm the day of the deal and get ready to buy!
Here’s hoping you’re able to grab a deal this year. If so, enjoy your travels.
And if not, there are plenty of ways to make your travel dreams come true without breaking the bank. Check out our Miles and Points series to get started making your travel dreams come true.
