|The final week of the 2021 U.S. Travel Association’s Daily Getaways promotion begins Monday, October 18, 2021.
Let’s take a look at the travel deals that are available this final week.
Daily Getaways Final Week Deals
The final week offers travel deals for Venetian hotel stays in Vegas, Marriott eGift Cards and Best Western hotel points.
Daily Getaways Details
Monday
Best Western Rewards points are up for grabs this first day of the Daily Getaways’ final week of deals.
For $55 you can get 10,000 Best Western Rewards points deposited into your Best Western Rewards account.
There’s a limit of 5 sets of points that can be purchased per Best Western loyalty number. So, a total of 50,000 points for $275.
As with any purchase of points, it’s best to have a redemption in mind, and only purchase points that will allow you to redeem for that award stay.
Tuesday
Two Venetian Resort Las Vegas Suite packages are up for sale. Below is a brief overview of each. More details can be found on the description page.
Three (3) nights in a Grand King Suite at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas for $650. Book and travel by December 27, 2022. Purchase limit – 1 package. 30 packages available.
Three (3) nights in a Grand One Bedroom Suite in The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas for $850. Book and travel by December 27, 2022. Purchase limit – 1 package. 20 packages available.
These packages only include room, tax and resort fee, but still, usually provide decent value if you’re looking for an upscale stay during your Vegas trip.
Unfortunately, blackout dates may apply, so there may be some stay restrictions to deal with after purchasing. As long as you’re okay with a little flexibility for your Vegas travels, it shouldn’t be too big of an issue.
Wednesday
Marriott Bonvoy eGift Cards are available on this final day.
You can choose from:
- $100 Marriott eGift Card for $80.
- $250 Marriott eGift Card for $200.
- $500 Marriott eGift Card for $400.
This is a straight-up save 20% deal on your next Marriott stay/purchase(s). Buy a gift card and use it for a Marriott stay, or at a Marriott spa, retail store, golf or for food and beverage at a Marriott property.
The $500 eGift Card has a purchase restriction of 1, while the $250 eGift Card allows for the purchase of 2, and 3 of the $100 eGift Cards can be purchased.
These Marriott eGfit Cards tend to be popular, so if you’re interested, be ready to buy right when they go on sale Wednesday.
Quick Thoughts
Let’s see, how should I say this…there’s something for everyone, I guess. And if Best Western points are your thing, then you might be able to add to your Best Western Rewards balance to get your next award stay with this points purchase option. And I’ll leave it at that.
I’ve walked through the Venetian Resort a few times and have always thought it would be a nice place to stay. And what better than staying in a suite! Yes, the pricing is a little on the high side, but if you want to splurge, one of these stay deals likely will save you some on the experience.
And, the Marriott eGift Cards are a straight-up 20% savings on Marriott purchases. Whether it’s on room rates, dining, spa treatments, using these purchased eGfit Cards to pay will save you 20%. So if Marriott is part of your travel plans, you might want to consider these eGift Cards.
That said, head to the Daily Getaways site, check pricing on individual deals and plan out your final week’s purchase strategy.
Daily Getaways Ins and Outs
All Daily Getaways deals go on sale at 1:00 pm ET the day they are listed.
Deal quantities are listed on an individual deal’s page on the Daily Getaways calendar. For popular deals, they will go quickly, so be ready to click the “Buy Now” button right at 1:00 pm.
Actually, if there is any deal in which you’re interested, just to be safe I’d be ready to buy right at 1:00 pm when the deal opens.
As with anything in life, the details matter, so for deals you’re interested in, be sure to look at the fine print…it’s listed on each individual deal at the Daily Getaways site.
That said, scope out the deals that interest you for this week, set your cell phone alarm for 12:50 pm the day of the deal and get ready to buy!
And that will conclude this year’s (2021) U.S. Travel Associations Daily Getaways promotion. A little shorter than in years past, but still a few really nice deals for those who were able to make a purchase before they sold out.
Hopefully, next year we’ll be a little more back to normal and the Daily Getaways will offer its more traditional slate of deals.
