SiriusXM’s Memorial Day 2021 Free Listening Event is Going on Now Through June 8
A few times each year SiriusXM satellite radio opens up its service, free, via a SiriusXM radio, the SiriusXM app or online at the SiriusXM website.
The latest SiriusXM free listening event is going on now, and runs through June 8, 2021.

If you want to take advantage of this free listening event, it couldn’t be easier to do. If you have a SiriusXM radio, simply turn it on, select your favorite channel, and enjoy free satellite radio through June 8.
The same can be done by using the SiriusXM app on your smartphone or tablet or logging on via SiriusXM’s website.

While this SiriusXM free listening deal is nice, make no mistake, this is SiriusXM’s way to entice previous subscribers back into the fold.
Restarting Your Subscription
If, after the free period you feel the desire to reactivate your subscription (or start a new one), please don’t do it at full price. There are plenty of SiriusXM subscription deals out there that will give you access at a much lower price point than you’ll find signing up on the SiriusXM website.
Although, right now on the main page for SiriusXM and this free listening event, you’ll find a link to a decent deal that gives you the SiriusXM Select package for $5 (plus tax and fees) per month for the first 12 months. This deal has been around for much of the pandemic since SiriusXM likely lost a lot of its commuting customers during that time.
Then when it comes time for the $5/month promo price to end, do not continue at the regular price.
SiriusXM is always willing to deal on price…you just have to be okay saying “no” a few times until the customer service rep brings up a subscription deal you’re comfortable with.
But, a subscription deal is a week or so away with this free listening event going on. Take advantage of free, and then if you want to pay for the SiriusXM service, find a lower-priced deal that’s right for your budget.
