Sign Up for YouTube TV (14-Day Free Trial) and Get a Free Google Chromecast After Your First Month’s Payment

There’s a new 21-day free trial with a $21 savings off your first month’s payment of YouTube TV deal available – you can read about it here – but it’s only good for the next few days (December 9, 2020).

Google is offering new customers who sign up for YouTube TV (streaming TV service) a free Google Chromecast after your first month’s payment of $64.99 is made.

Additionally, an increased free trial of 14-days is being offered now through October 15, 2020, at 11:59 Pacific Time. Offer must be redeemed by that date/time with a credit card added to the account. Your first charge of $64.99 won’t occur until the 14-day free trial ends.

Google Chromecast

A Google Chromecast allows the streaming of a variety of video content on the television to which it’s connected.

You can read more at this link.

The free Chromecast promotion is good for subscribers to YouTube TV between October 15, 2020 and December 31, 2020 and who make at least 1 valid payment.

Additonal promo terms include:

  • Promotional offer is only available to a first time YouTube TV Member or Family Group Manager.
  • One device per household.
  • Eligible participants will be contacted by YouTube TV by email and must visit the US Google Store using the promotion link provided and take action in order to claim the offer.
  • Offer must be redeemed at the US Google Store by 11:59pm PST on February 28, 2021

Obviously, this Chromecast won’t work for watching your initial YouTube TV trial, but it’s ideal for a second or third television which does not yet have a streaming option attached to it.

YouTube TV

YouTube TV, for many who stream their television content rather than subscribe to cable or satellite, took over at the top of the list for live TV streaming platforms last year.

It was an incredible deal until it raised its price to $64.99 for its only subscription package June 30, 2020.

Now it’s a decent deal.

And with this extended free trial period of 14-days, anyone who’s been thinking of trying a live TV streaming platform can do so to see if it’s right for them.

I was going to switch to YouTube TV last year if my DirecTV retention call had not lowered my bill to a level I felt was reasonable. DirecTV did come back with a decent deal which kept me as a DirecTV subscriber for another year.

However, my year is coming to an end soon, so I might seriously be considering YouTube TV once again…even at its higher monthly price point.

Wrap Up

This YouTube TV offer is a pretty good deal for those who are considering a switch to a live TV streaming platform.

Not only do you get an extended free trial period of 14-days (rather than the regular 7 days) to decide if you like it or not, but if you stay, you’ll receive a free Google Chromecast after you pay your first month’s subscription payment of $64.99.

Are you going to take advantage of the YouTube TV promo?
