Shell’s Fuel Rewards Discount Day for September 2024 – Get $0.15 Off per Gallon on Friday, September 20th
Shell’s Fuel Rewards program is offering its one-day discount promotion on Friday, September 20th.
You can save $0.15 per gallon on a fill up on that date.
As we’ve seen in the past, you will need to activate the offer to get the benefit.
Activation must take place by the end of day, Tuesday, September 17th.
You should check for your Shell Fuel Rewards email, on which will be an activation button that, when clicked, will automatically activate the savings on your Shell Fuel Rewards account.
Check your email account for the Fuel Rewards email…mine was sent September 13th…titled “Your monthly member appreciation reward” And, the email language states to “Activate this reward and fill up on 9/20 to save 15c/gal.“
Make sure you activate the promo prior to the end of Tuesday, September 17h!

Shell Fuel Rewards Program
If you’re not familiar with the program, Fuel Rewards provides discounts on gasoline purchases at participating Shell gas stations.
Platinum Status earns 10 cents off per gallon on every fill up, Gold Status gives members 5 cents off per gallon of gas up to 20 gallons per fill up, and Silver Status provides a 3 cent per gallon savings.
Once you’ve signed up for the Fuel Rewards program, simply swipe your Fuel Rewards card, your Single Swipe enabled payment card (credit card) or enter your Alt Id (usually it’s the phone number you provide when setting up the account) at the pump and your per gallon savings will automatically appear.
Additional per gallon savings can be had when you link to dining, shopping or other programs.

Shell has changed its rewards program somewhat from previous years, adding the Platinum Status tier and seemingly making it more difficult to maintain Platinum and/or Gold status.
Still, the program does provide a savings, and ways to earn even more discounts if you don’t prefer other loyalty programs.
Which is good for anyone wanting to save a little on their gasoline costs.
If you’re taking advantage of the September 20th discount day, be sure to activate your savings either via the promo email or the link method we provide above, by September 17th.
Then, fill up on Friday, September 20th, making sure to use a linked credit card to pay or by inputting your Alt ID at the pump prior to beginning your fill up.
