Shell’s Fuel Rewards Discount Day for December is Wednesday the 20th – Activate by December 17th
Shell’s Fuel Rewards program is offering its one-day discount promotion just in time for your holiday travels – Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

You can save $0.20 per gallon on a fill up on that date.
As we’ve seen in the past, you will need to activate the offer to get the benefit.
Activation must take place by the end of day, Sunday, December 17th.
And, as we’ve also seen in the past, you likely will have to activate this promotion via the Activate Offer button on the promo’s email to you.
I still have not heard of other ways to activate these Shell discount offers. Please comment if you have.
So, check your email account for the Fuel Rewards email…mine was sent December 11th…titled “Here’s a holiday gift: 20 cents/gal!” And, the email language states to “Activate this offer below by the end of December 17th and fill up on December 20th…”
The Wednesday, December 20th fill up will trigger the promotion’s $0.20 per gallon savings on that purchase.
The promotion’s terms are the same as past month’s…aside from the dates, that is.
Available only to the recipient of the promotion’s email, can only redeem once during the promotion’s period, fill up with a minimum of at least 10 gallons (although I’m not sure that requirement is followed), etc.
Check the bottom of your promo email if you want to see the full terms.
And, of course, you must activate the $0.20 per gallon promo discount offer to be eligible.
As always, use a Fuel Rewards account linked credit card or sign in at the pump prior to filling up to ensure you get the discount.

If you’re not familiar with the program, Fuel Rewards provides discounts on gasoline purchases at participating Shell gas stations.
Gold Status with Fuel Rewards gives members 5 cents off per gallon of gas up to 20 gallons per fill up, while Silver Status provides a 3 cent per gallon savings.
Once you’ve signed up for the Fuel Rewards program, simply swipe your Fuel Rewards card, your Single Swipe enabled payment card (credit card) or enter your Alt Id (usually it’s the phone number you provide when setting up the account) at the pump and your per gallon savings will automatically appear.
Additional per gallon savings can be had when you link to dining, shopping or other programs.

Shell continued its Fuel Rewards savings promotion througout 2023.
Which is good for everyone wanting to save a little on their gasoline costs. Especially during this holiday travel time.
With this last savings offer of the year, we’ll have to wait and see if it continues in 2024.
But, with this final discount day of 2023, remember, the savings are for Fuel Rewards members only, and you must activate the promotion on your account prior to end-of-day, Sunday, December 17, 2023.
Then, make your fuel purchase on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, to trigger the 20-cent per gallon discount.
And, of course, be sure to log in to your account – or use a linked credit card to pay – to ensure you get the discount.
