If your PayPal account has been targeted, you can save $20 – $40 for some – off a purchase of $80 or more when you use PayPal to checkout on Instacart.

This is a one-time savings offer per account.

And the offer must be redeemed by February 8, 2023, at 1:31 p.m. Pacific Time. Kind of an oddly specific time, but that’s what’s in the terms.

You can log in to your PayPal account at this link.

Then select the “Deal” tab at the top of the PayPal page.

If the Promo is not obvious, scroll down to the “Exclusive Deals When You Pay with PayPal” section where this deal should be located.

Select the deal image and then click the Save Offer button on the promo pop-up.

After your Instacart purchase of $80 or more is made via the PayPal payment option, you’ll see a $20 credit to the Instacart total. This will show in PayPal, though, not the final total on Instacart.

You may want to check your payment method options in PayPal prior to making the purchase.

For previous offers like this, I have selected a credit card that would earn 9x Ultimate Rewards points at grocery stores, but for some reason PayPal deducted the payment from my linked bank account instead. That’s happened a few times in the past, and I don’t know exactly why.

You can go into certain settings and change payment methods for specific merchants. So, maybe do that prior to making the purchase if you have a preferred payment method you want used.

I used it on groceries, but it should work on any retailer on the Instacart platform.

And delivery isn’t required. My purchase was for pickup.

Some pass on Instacart because of the mark up select retailers include on Instacart orders. There are retailers who don’t increase product prices, though – like my grocery store – so if that’s the case for you, this is a nice, easy savings on items you likely were going to buy anyway.
