Select Chase Credit Card Holders Can Enjoy DoorDash’s DashPass Free of Charge
DoorDash, the food delivery service, has partnered with Chase to allow select credit card holders access to DashPass benefits free of charge.
DashPass is a subscription service of DoorDash’s that provides free deliveries (no delivery fee) on orders from eligible restaurants. Service fees and minimum order amounts may/will still apply.
This free DashPass subscription for select Chase credit card holders is a $9.99 per month savings based on the monthly DashPass subscription fee.
DashPass for Chase Card Holders
DoorDash customers will receive the free DashPass benefit when an eligible Chase credit card is added to his/her DoorDash account as the default payment method.
The specific benefits depend on the Chase credit card that is added to your account.
Below is the card/benefit breakdown.
Chase Sapphire Reserve – Free DashPass benefit on eligible orders for at least 12 months (and a maximum of 24 months) after activation.
Chase Sapphire Preferred – Free DashPass benefits on eligible orders for at least 12 months (and a maximum of 24 months) after activation.
Chase Freedom – Free DashPass benefits on eligible orders for 3 months after activation when primary cardmember or authorized user activates the benefit.
After the first 3 months, the user will be auto-enrolled for the next 9 months in DashPass with a 50% discount applied to the then current membership rate.
After the first 12 months, the user will be auto-enrolled into full price membership at the then current rate.
Chase Slate – Free DashPass benefits on eligible orders for 3 months after activation when primary cardmember or authorized user activates the benefit.
After the first 3 months, the user will be auto-enrolled for the next 9 months in DashPass with a 50% discount applied to the then current membership rate.
After the first 12 months, the user will be auto-enrolled into full price membership at the then current rate.
Eligible Orders
An “eligible” order as it relates to DashPass benefits is one which is with a restaurant designated with a blue checkmark, totaling $12 or more.
Eligible orders will incur no delivery fee and reduced service fees.
