Select Barclays Credit Cards Offering Increased Spending Bonuses Through June 30, 2022

Chase recently began offering increased spending bonuses on select co-branded credit cards for this quarter, and now Barclays is out with its own increased bonuses to encourage spending on its cards.

Barclays is offering 3x miles/points on various purchases on select credit cards in its portfolio.

And, as is often the case, the exact details of the bonus miles/points can vary depending on the account and credit card.

As you can see in the image above, the Aviator Red card on my account is offering 3 additional American Airlines miles per dollar spent on all purchases up to a total of 3,600 miles through June 20, 2022.

There are other reports of Barclays accounts offering 3x on select categories such as groceries, dining and drugstores.

The 3x bonus is over and above what your card would normally provide for a specific category.

So, in the case above, the Aviator Red card would earn 4x American miles on all spend up to the max amount of 3,600 miles earned.
