Scotts Offering Rebates on Various Lawn and Gardening Products Including Turf Builder Fertilizers, Ortho Insect Controls and Miracle-Gro Soils & Mixes Through June 30, 2022

Scotts is offering rebates on various lawn and gardening products that are purchased through June 30, 2022.

Important – These rebates are only valid on purchases from local independent hardware and/or garden center stores.

The rebates, unfortunately, are not available if Scotts products are purchased at mass merchants such as

• Target
• Kmart

or home centers such as

• Lowe’s
• Home Depot
• Walmart

I’m sure Amazon would not count, either.

This limitation likely excludes many purchases.

But, it’s obviously an incentive to get customers to buy from smaller home/garden retailers who may be facing economic challenges that the bigger retailers are not. So, a positive move, even though a limiting one for the customers.

If you’ve already bought from a smaller retailer, or plan to, then read on.

Products such as Turf Builder fertilizers, select Ortho insect controls and select Miracle-Gro soils and mixes, to name a few, are eligible for these rebates.

While you can print the rebate forms from the links below and mail them in, you can also submit your proof of purchase and personal information via a Scotts website or via text message.

Below are the various Scotts products that are eligible for a rebate, the amount of rebate being offered and links to the rebate form for each.

As with most rebates, you’ll need the purchase receipt for submission.

You will also need the 12-digit UPC Code for each product (located on the product itself or the product packaging).

So don’t throw out the bottle, bag or other packaging on which the UPC Code is printed. Some receipts might show the UPC Code, but most will not.

Now on to the Scotts products and related rebates.

Scotts Turf Builder Fertilizer Products

• Receive a $5 rebate for any 4,000 – 5,000 sq. ft. bag
• Receive a $10 rebate for any 8,000 sq. ft. bag or larger

You can receive a rebate on up to 4 bags, any combination of bag size/rebate amount is permissible, with a valid rebate submission up to a total of $40 in rebates.

Rebate is valid for purchases made between February 1, 2022, and June 30, 2022.

Rebate requests must be postmarked by July 31, 2022, and received by August 14, 2022.

Wrap Up

Scotts is offering rebates on a number of its lawn and gardening products.

There is a catch, though. You must purchase the products from a local, independent hardware/garden center store. The big players such as Target, Walmart, Home Depot, etc., are excluded.

And, as with any rebate promotion, you’ll need to do a little work to get the money.

Receipts and UPC Codes must be kept and submitted along with the information needed to get the rebate to you.

Luckily, they provide three different ways to submit the information – old-school mail-in, via an online website and by text message.

If you’re okay buying from a smaller, independent retailer and keeping track of the required information, then you might as well get money back on what you spend on your lawn and garden upkeep this year.
