Save 5% on Target Gift Cards Through June 19 and Grab a $40 Off $40 Deal When You Sign Up for a Target RedCard

Target has two promotions available right now, the first of which provides 5% off Target gift cards and the other a $40 off $40 sign-up promo for new Target RedCard applicants.

Both deals can save you money on your Target purchases.

To take advantage of the Target gift card promo, you will need to be a Target Circle member (free to join).

Here are some details on each promo.

Target Gift Card 5% Discount

Target is offering its gift cards with a 5% discount beginning today, June 16 and running through June 19, 2021.

This isn’t as good a deal as the 10% off we’ve seen around Christmas the past few years, but still not a bad deal.

Obviously, the play is to buy a Target gift card, getting the 5% discount, and use that discounted gift card to effectively save 5% on your Target purchases paid for with that gift card.

You must be a Target Circle member – and have saved the offer to your Target Circle account – to take advantage of this promo.

Offer valid for one-time use purchase online only
Transaction can include multiple Target GiftCard items up to $500 ($25 maximum discount)
GiftCards can be delivered via Mail, Email or Text
Offer excludes Visa Gift Cards, Mastercard Gift Cards, American Express Gift Cards and gift cards issued by other retailers such as dining, lifestyle and entertaining gift cards

Category Coupon. Offer valid for one transaction up to $500 in Target GiftCards ($25 maximum discount) on Target.com per Target Circle account. Transaction can include multiple Target GiftCards. Offer is redeemable only through Target Circle. No returns on Target GiftCards. Offer does not include Visa Gift Cards, Mastercard Gift Cards, American Express Gift Cards and gift cards issued by other retailers such as dining, lifestyle and entertaining gift cards. Offer excludes reloads of previously purchased Target GiftCards, Target GiftCards given in exchange for electronic or prepaid trade-ins, Target GiftCards provided for merchandise returns, Merchandise Return Cards and Target GiftCards provided as free promotional card with qualifying purchase. Quantities limited; no rainchecks. Purchases of Target GiftCards that exceed certain transaction limits may be voided. Target RedCard Sign-Up Promo

In a limited-time promotion, new Target RedCard applicants can receive a $40 savings off a $40 or more future Target purchase as a sign-up bonus.

This is one of the better RedCard application promotions, so if you’ve considered a RedCard in the past but just didn’t pull the trigger, now might be the time.

The Target RedCard (credit and debit versions) offers holders unique benefits that regular Target shoppers should consider if saving money is of interest.

Target RedCard holders receive:

5% off your in-store or online Target purchases
Free 2-day shipping on many items on Target.com
Access to exclusive promotions, gifts and special items
An additional 30-days for returns and exchanges

Approved applicants for either the Target RedCard credit card or debit card will receive a coupon good for $40 off a future qualifying purchase over $40.

This promotion runs now through July 17, 2021.

The coupon will be mailed to approved cardholders with their RedCard and will be valid through 8/28/21.
