Making the Most of an Airline’s Dining Program
|If you read my post, Earn 1,000 United Airlines Miles Just for Joining, you might be wondering, okay, I get 1,000 airline miles, but how does it work after that?
Well, I tried to explain how dining at restaurants that are part of the program can earn you airline miles, but Chris Guillebeau’s annual Dining Dash – which is under way as I write this – might be a better way of getting the point across.
You can read his pre-Dash post here.
And if you’re reading this on Friday, March 11, 2016, you may be able to follow Chris’ Dash via his Twitter or Instagram feeds.
Twelve dines is the key to opening the magical 5 miles per dining-dollar spent at participating restaurants. To knock out all twelve in one day is a pretty good feat. And opens the door to some easy miles-earning for the rest of the year.
This isn’t specific to today – that’s just when Chris decided to do his Dining Dash – so if this sounds intriguing, why not do your own Dining Dash to get you on your way to earning lots of easy miles in your preferred airline frequent flyer program.
Nothing better than eating out and earning airline miles!
