|Amazon recently announced its Amazon Prime memberships will be available to low-income households for $5.99 per month.
To qualify for this reduced membership fee, households must currently have a valid Electronic Benefits Transfer card for any of the following government assistance programs:
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Other programs by state
Once eligibility is confirmed by providing a valid EBT number, individuals can sign up for the reduced priced Amazon Prime membership.
