It’s Holiday Shopping Season and Target’s Back with a $40 Off $40 RedCard Sign-Up Promotion

Just in time for your 2021 holiday shopping, Target is back with its $40 off $40 RedCard sign-up promotion.

New Target RedCard applicants can receive a $40 savings off a $40 or more future Target purchase when they are approved now through December 11, 2021.

This is one of the better RedCard application promotions, so if you’ve considered a RedCard in the past but just didn’t pull the trigger, here’s your chance.

Multiple Sign-Up Bonuses

Or, maybe you have gotten a RedCard and its bonus in the past and wondered if you can get another bonus…well, the answer is yes, with a little work.

This tactic won’t be for everyone, but it does appear possible to take advantage of these RedCard sign-up bonus promos multiple times.

First, this should only be done with the RedCard debit card. Not the RedCard credit card.

Of course, the first step is closing your previously opened RedCard debit card. There is no exact time period between closing and opening a new RedCard debit card for the sign-up bonus, but I’d say at least one month between closing and trying to open a new debit card account. Three months or so may be a better option, if possible.

There are reports of individuals receiving multiple – up to 8 or 9 – RedCard sign up bonuses using this tactic.

You might be able to close your current RedCard now and try applying again in early December to grab this $40 off $40 deal. It’s not a guarantee that it’ll work, but maybe.

Target RedCard

The Target RedCard (credit and debit versions) offers holders unique benefits that regular Target shoppers should consider if saving money is of interest.

Target RedCard Sign-Up Promo

A few times throughout the year, Target will offer sign-up promotions for its RedCard.

Now, once again, is one of those times.

Approved applicants for either the Target RedCard credit card or debit card will receive a coupon good for $40 off a future qualifying purchase over $40.

Applications can be in-store or online at Target.com.

This promotion runs now through December 11, 2021.

The coupon will be mailed to approved cardholders with their RedCard and will be valid through 1/9/22.
