It’s Gift Card Deal Time Thanks to Graduations, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day
In hopes that gift cards will be the gift of choice for graduates, moms on Mother’s Day, and dads on Father’s Day, a number of restaurants and retailers are offering deals on gift cards to nudge gift givers in that direction.
Many chain restaurants are giving a Bonus gift card when a specific amount of gift card is purchased.
And some retailers are also running promotions that add to the gift card purchased amount – via an additional gift card or promo code – when a certain amount of gift card is bought.
Below is a brief list of the gift card deals that are currently available.

Applebees: Now through 7/1/18, buy a $50 gift card and get a $10 Bonus Card. The Bonus Card is valid through 8/12/18.
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse: Now through 5/13/18, buy a $50 gift card and get a $10 Bonus Card. Bonus Card must be used between 5/15/18 and 6/16/18.

Not Just for Gifts
Sometimes we get focused on one thing…in this case, buying gift cards to give as a gift. However, if any of these deals are to establishments you frequent often or need to purchase from in the coming days or weeks, take advantage of the savings for yourself by purchasing the gift cards and getting the associated bonuses for your own use.
Just be sure to use the bonus deals during the valid period, or else it defeats the “deal” purchase.
