Instacart+ Adds Peacock Streaming Platform as a Benefit
Instacart+ has added the streaming TV platform Peacock as a benefit.

Instacart+ is the delivery service’s paid subscription option that provides unlimited free delivery of Instacart purchases over $35, Lower service fees, 5% back on eligible pickup orders, and more.
Peacock is NBCUniversal’s streaming platform on which a variety of television shows, movies and sporting events can be accessed.
Now, subscribers to instacart’s Instacart+ membership program get free access to the Peacock Premium streaming service. The Peacock Premium plan provides content with commercials. It regularly prices at $5.99 per month, so that’s a savings of roughly $6.50 per month when tax is factored in.
Instacart+ for Free
While not as lucrative as a few years ago, there are a number of Chase credit cards that provide the Instacart+ service free for varying periods of time.
Here’s a look at the Chase cards and the length of time you can get a complimentary Instacart+ membership.
Chase Sapphire Reserve – One membership per eligible card account for 12 months
Chase Sapphire and Sapphire Preferred – One membership per eligible card account for 6 months
Chase Freedom Cards – One membership per eligible card account for 3 months
A nice benefit that appears to still be available is holders of multiple Chase credit cards listed above can “stack” each card’s complementary Instacart+ membership for an extended period of the complementary membership.
For example, if you have a Chase Sapphire Preferred card and two Chase Freedom cards, you could add each to your Instacart account and enjoy 12 months of free instacart+.
And, with this new Instacart+ benefit, 12 months of the Peacock service free of charge.
How to Access Peacock via Instacart+
According to the FAQ section of Instacart’s Peacock page, “Eligible Instacart+ members can get their Peacock Premium access by logging in to their Instacart+ account on this page and redeeming their Peacock Premium subscription.
Peacock does offer a commercial-free subscription option (Peacock Premium Plus) for roughly $6 a month more. Once you have the free version activated via the Instacart+ benefit, you should be able to add the commercial-free version on the Peacock platform if you want…of course, you’ll have to pay $6 or so each month yourself to watch ad-free.
