If You’re Like Many Americans These Days Who Feel Something’s Just Not Right in the Country, But You Can’t Put Your Finger on What, This Article May Shed Some Light
|Many Americans feel something’s just not right in the country these days.
What exactly, is hard to pinpoint for most. It’s just a feeling as we watch many aspects of today’s society seemingly spiral out of control.
It’s definitely not imaginary.
And, unfortunately, it doesn’t take too much research to realize it’s a concerted effort to bring about that exact feeling of unease, distrust, and even anger, that many are feeling.
The Video
To understand what’s happening, I strongly encourage viewing the video linked below.
Yuri Bezmenov was a Russian KGB agent prior to his defection to Canada in the 1970s. His specialty was working to destabilize countries, governments and societies via propaganda efforts that would ultimately allow an entry point for communism and an authoritarian takeover of that entity.
Part of this video is his discussion of the exact steps needed to make this happen. The video is set to start at his blackboard presentation which lasts about 40 minutes. The full video is almost 3 hours long and worth a listen if you want additional background on his story and what he was trained to do.
Watch the blackboard presentation, though, and see if anything he presents sounds familiar.
My guess is it will.
The Article
Then read the article linked below.
It’s one of the better pieces describing what’s happening, not only in the U.S., but globally right now and where we may be heading.
But, most importantly, it covers why it’s happening. Here’s a brief portion of Brandon Smith’s article.
“It took long enough, but average Americans are finally engaging in a culture war which was started years ago, not so much by the political left, but by globalist institutions using leftist activists as enforcers and saboteurs. The key issue that very few people talk about is that activist groups would have NO POWER whatsoever if it weren’t for the unprecedented backing they receive from governments, non-profits, think-tanks and the corporate world. And, a lot of this support has been injected through ESG-style financing as well as DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) programs.
ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) is becoming a well known term and is, at bottom, a form of “impact investing” – Meaning, major lenders such as Blackrock or Carlyle Group, or think-tanks like the Ford Foundation, seek to control societal outcomes using lending as leverage. Watch the video HERE featuring the Ford Foundation’s head of “mission investments” to get a basic understanding of what ESG really is: Social engineering.
In the past, lenders would base their financing standards on good credit scores and the likelihood of return on investment. If you had a business with a history of solid returns and worthy collateral then you would probably get whatever loans you needed. Today, however, lenders are trying to set political and ideological terms for companies seeking to obtain financing. You must signal your virtue to get access to money, and this includes supporting climate and carbon initiatives, reorganizing your labor based on diversity and inclusion rules, even promoting LGBT activism might be a big factor in your next infusion of cash.
The higher your ESG score, the more likely it is that you will qualify for access to debt. This is part of the reason why a large array of corporations are increasingly jumping on the “pride month” bandwagon. All they have to do is slap some rainbows on some products or commercials or publicly defend the trans grooming of children and suddenly they are golden for another year of subsidized funds.”
You can read the full article, “ESG Dystopia: Why Corporations Are Doubling Down On Woke Even As They Lose Billions” at this link.
So, we have a collusion of governments, non-profit groups, and corporations to push an agenda deemed “appropriate.”
Or, to put it more bluntly, social engineering is being used to transform society into what a select few (relatively speaking) believe is best for everyone.
See Yuri Bezmenov’s presentation if you need a reminder on how this works and where it ends up.
We at Savings Beagle have warned for years about the dangerous financial path the U.S. and governments around the world are on. Anyone with just a bit of common and economic sense understands it’s simply unsustainable.
And Brandon addresses that, too. In the context of what’s happening, he sees the end result being a financial reset. And while I tend to agree with his general view, I sure hope he’s wrong.
Because, if things play out as he presents, it’s the end of freedom as we’ve known it.
After watching Bezmenov’s presentation and reading Smith’s article, what do you think? Let us know.
And, if you know others who feel something’s “just off” these days, pass this post along to see if it helps shed some light for them.
