Free Fries at Steak ‘n Shake

Steak ‘n Shake is offering free fries!

Aside from the free fries only being available at the drive-thru, and limiting a free fry order to one per customer per visit, there doesn’t appear to be any other stipulation associated with this promo.

The free fry promo has been going on for a while now. It looks to have been added to Steak ‘n Shake’s Facebook page in late April, but not publicized too much outside of that.

Steak ‘n Shake, like many businesses, has been struggling to stay in business as a result of Covid-19 shutdowns, so this was likely an effort to bring customers in, with little financial loss from the free fry promo.

It is important to note, though, that the free fry promo is at participating locations only. And in the Facebook comments, some have been refused free fries when requesting them at certain Steak ‘n Shake locations.

So, while Steak ‘n Shake corporate says, “With us, every day is fry-day. Ask for free fries and you shall receive,” your actual experience may be different.

A call to your preferred Steak ‘n Shake location prior to going should confirm if they’re offering this free fry promo.

And with no end-date indicated, this free fry promo could be gone any time.
