YouTube TV to Raise Its Base Price to $82.99
YouTube TV, the live TV streaming service, has announced a base price increase from its current $72.99 per month to $82.99 per month beginning January 13, 2025.
If you're on a discounted promotion plan, it will still be honored until it ends, at which time you'll be billed the current (increased) monthly amount.
It seems we've officially hit the point with live TV streaming platforms where the value proposition as compared to cable/satellite just isn't there anymore. Yes, streaming is likely a bit less expensive, but definitely not the sizable difference it used to be. And most assuredly not the "slam dunk" it used to be for switching.
Whether to stay with streaming platforms or head back to cable/satellite...or do something completely different...will definitely depend on your viewing preferences and budget.
