Why America's Health Care System is a Large Part of Our Financial Problem and a Possible Solution

Below is a link to a recent podcast episode regarding healthcare, its costs and a lower-cost option that may benefit some.

The podcast is Vivek Ranaswamy's, who you may know is a Republican candidate for president.  Many of his podcasts are not only for the benefit of listeners but for him, as well, to help develop policy frameworks for his presidential run.  Listening to a variety of viewpoints and policy suggestions is a positive for everyone, but especially for someone developing strategies to benefit the country overall.

As we've mentioned before, the U.S. healthcare system is a giant financial albatross around the neck of U.S. citizens and the government. Costs continue to grow, resulting in economic stress to individuals through higher insurance pricing and to the U.S. government through higher costs to provide medical care to those enrolled in the Medicare and Medicaid programs.  The healthcare system and its associated costs are one of the primary drivers of America's growing debt problem.

This quick, approximately 20-minute, discussion illustrates why.  And the doctor with whom Mr. Ramaswamy is talking discusses a cost-effective alternative for individuals that he has provided for a number of years now.

The link below is to Apple Podcasts.  However, you can find Mr. Ramaswamy's podcast on most platforms by searching Vivek Ramaswamy.  This particular episode is titled, "Dr. Keith Smith: Redefining Healthcare through Capitalism."
